This is a wonderful time of year to be in the garden. Daffodils popping up everywhere and the promise of warmer weather and longer days dancing around us.
At our house, we have been preparing soil and planting potatoes, picking posies of tiny flowers for the dinner table and simply wondering at the bounty of blossoms that are budding along the streets in the Hills district.
We are also planning our Springtime activities and as our 12 year old daughter is going to the Great Barrier reef in October, we have decided to join the Scuba Warehouse monthly family snorkeling outings, each time held at a different national park around Sydney. They also run Marine life lessons in conjunction with snorkeling lessons - now there's inspiration for homeschooling lessons! Keep an eye on our facebook page for more details, coming soon.
