WELCOME

Our aim is for you to use these real life positive birth stories to encourage yourself to be confident in your natural ability to give birth gently.

The innate ability of each woman to give birth guided by her body’s wisdom, with trusted attendants, in soft private spaces, has been largely taken over by the international billion dollar high-tech low-touch obstetrics industry. This ‘active management’ of childbirth alters the mix of hormones that evolution has provided to help ease mother and baby through birth. Traumatic popular culture images, non-factual historical references and urban horror stories of childbirth reinforce birth-fear causing the very muscles designed for childbirth to constrict and tense. The result? Widespread ‘complications’ and unnecessary interventions leaving mothers and babies traumatised and affected.

What if we weren’t scared?

What if we knew pregnancy and giving birth was the most normal natural thing on earth and millions of women go through it without ‘complications’, fear or intervention?

What if we employed proven & safe techniques during pregnancy and childbirth that enhanced our power to give birth naturally?

What if we were reminded that our bodies are perfectly designed to give birth?

Would this help change attitudes and therefore childbirth?

I believe it would! Here, in the true experiences of women from across the globe you will find the evidence. Like women’s stories across the ages and continents, these stories will inform, entertain, inspire and keep truth alive.

By hearing true stories filled with wisdom, tips & techniques and positive experiences of birthing you will feel empowered and be reminded that its possible to give birth gently according to you and your baby’s power, strength and innate wisdom.

Jump into this glorious array of stories, absorb them, fill your dreams up with them, and submerge yourself in the wisdom shared by women across the globe.…They are our gift to you and your babies.

Thank you

We would like to extend our deep appreciation to the wonderful women who have shared their stories. Your time and words and experiences continue to inspire and empower others. A big warm thank you!

Committed to the Health and Wellbeing of Children,  The Aurum Project is an Australian facility for homeopathic medicine research which received approval as a charitable institution in 2005.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Aurum Project is to advance the understanding and practice of homeopathy in Australia by promoting and conducting research into the use of homeopathic medicines for childhood health and behavioural problems.

Aims

The Aurum Project aims to promote and develop research in the homeopathic profession and enable a pathway for homeopathic researchers. By acting as a research partner for grant applications it aims to encourage collaboration between homeopathic practitioners and medical researchers. The Aurum Project plans to make the information gathered from research available to the homeopathic profession and the public. As well as validating homeopathy as a viable form of primary health care, our aim is for the results of the research to enable parents to confidently consider this method of health care for their child.

Our Vision

Our vision is to provide contemporary evidence to validate and promote the use of high quality homeopathic treatment in Australia for childhood health and behavioural problems.

The Aurum Project is the first homeopathy charity to be registered in Australia, setting a special precedent in recognising the appropriateness of wholistic research.  In response to the rising incidence of children’s behavioural disorders and the increasing number of parents asking for help, the Aurum Project was developed to promote education and research about homeopathic treatment for children.

The Aurum Project  is dedicated to research into behavioural issues stemming from emotional or physical causes. The health problems include: ADHD, allergies, asthma, ear problems, eczema, fever, sleeping problems, tantrums, teething, tics and twitches.
